Salman Khan’s Diwali release, Tiger 3 recorded a bumper opening at the box office despite being released on Diwali, November 12. And now, with positive word-of-mouth, the movie has witnessed phenomenal growth. It has trumped the collection of Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jawan. After collecting a whooping Rs 44.50 crore on Day 1, the movie collected Rs 57.52 crores on 2nd Day.
Tiger 3 Day 2 box office collection
On Day 2, Tiger 3 witnessed around 29% growth at the box office. As per trade reports, the film collected Rs 57.52 crores. This takes its two-day collection to ₹102 crore. With this collection, it has performed better than Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jawan. Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan was released on a Thursday and made ₹74.5 crore on day 1. However, on day 2, it made ₹53 crore.

The movie is a part of YRF’s ambitious spy universe following the events of Ek Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai, War, and Pathaan. It is directed by Maneesh Sharma, who previously helmed films like Band Baaja Baaraat, Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl, Shuddh Desi Romance and Fan. Tiger 3 also features Katrina Kaif, Emraan Hashmi and Revathy in prominent roles with cameos from Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan. Apart from Hindi, the film has also hit the screens in Tamil and Telugu dubbed versions.

Bollywood Bubble gave 4 stars to Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer Tiger 3 and called it a ‘Perfect gift for this Diwali.’
On Day 1, a video of the audience bursting crackers in theatres while watching Tiger 3 went viral. Salman Khan took cognizance of it and urged everyone to maintain safety. He tweeted, “I’m hearing about fireworks inside theaters during Tiger3. This is dangerous. Let’s enjoy the film without putting ourselves and others at risk. Stay safe.“
