Salman Khan's Tiger 3 has shattered box office records worldwide by grossing the biggest Diwali opening for a Hindi film. The film collected Rs 94 crores on Day 1 globally.

Salman Khan returned to his spy character Tiger this Diwali with people expectating it to shatter box office records. And Tiger 3 lived up to those expectations. First, the film created domestic box office record for a Diwali day collection. Now, Tiger 3 has created yet another record with its worldwide box office figures.

Tiger 3 opened with a bang at the box office. Salman took a big risk by releasing the film on the Diwali day, and a Sunday on top of it. But the risk paid off. The film collected Rs 44.5 crores at the domestic cash counters. With this, it created the record of the highest Hindi film collection on Diwali day itself.

Now, with the worldwide figures, Tiger 3 broke a few more box office records. It repeated the same feat globally that it did with the domestic collection. It grossed Rs 94 crores worldwide, setting the new record for highest grossing Diwali day in the history of Hindi cinema. YRF announced the same through a social media post. With the festive period continuing, it would be interesting to see how the film fares on Day 2, which is a Monday.

Starring Salman, Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi, Tiger 3 became the fifth film of the YRF spy universe. It released worldwide on December 12, 2023. In India, it was released in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. At Bollywood Bubble, we gave 4 stars out of 5 to Tiger 3 in our review.
