Tiger Shroff and Shraddha Kapoor starrer ‘Baaghi 3’ released last Friday. The action-thriller directed by Ahmed Khan became the highest opener of 2020 so far by collecting Rs. 17.50 crores on its opening day. However, its collection witnessed a very slight growth on its day 2. The film managed to mint around Rs 16.03Â on its second day at the ticket window. Overall the film has minted around Rs. 33.53 crores so far.
Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to his Twitter handle to share the film’s day 2 performance at the box-office. “#Baaghi3 slows on Day 2… Single screens strong, metro multiplexes ordinary… Should witness growth on Day 3… Day 5 [#Holi] should see substantial footfalls, post noon onwards… Eyes ₹ 52 cr [+/-] weekend… Fri 17.50 cr, Sat 16.03 cr. Total: ₹ 33.53 cr. #India biz,” he wrote.Â

‘Baaghi 3’ was mostly panned by the critics for its lack of a story and logic. Bollywood Bubble review said, “Where do I begin? While there is a lot of humour in the movie but still, it will have you laughing for all the wrong reasons. The screenplay is a complete drag. There is no room for logic. Clearly gravity does not like Ronnie at all and hence that is how he gets his superhero ability to fly off from helicopters and roofs. Yes, Shraddha was part of the cast but barely part of the film. There was so much more space for her character. This is a Bollywood movie, but yet we need it to make sense. If you compare this to the first two movies, you will find them much better.”
