Salman Khan has always ruled the box office and has set a new record every time with his release. Salman’s latest release ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ has smashed every possible box office number by collecting Rs 150 crore at the box office in just 4 days and is still going strong. The Christmas release received a thumbs up at the box office and had the following numbers collected on respective days. Rs 34 crore on its day 1, Rs 35.25 crore nett on day 2, 45,50 crore approximately and around Rs 36.54 crore nett on day 4. Monday, being Christmas eve, gave the film an extended holiday weekend which clearly seems to have helped the film.
The Salman and Katrina-starrer has smashed every possible record and the film has smashed four huge box office records in the first four days of its release. The film has broken the first day record of Aamir Khan’s ‘Dhoom 3’ to become the highest grosser film which released on a non-holiday. On Day 3, it set two big records.First being the biggest ever single day collection by a Bollywood film as it collected Rs 45.53 crore nett on that day and second, it smashed the record created by ‘Sultan’ by collecting Rs 114.93 crore nett in India in just 3 days!
Taking note of all of this, we wouldn’t be amassed if Ali Abbas’s ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ breaks the record of director Rohit Shetty’s ‘Golmaal 4’ to become highest grosser of 2017.
