‘Tubelight’ disappoints on its second Saturday at the box office

The second weekend collection of Salman Khan-starrer ‘Tubelight’ has shocked us. The film’s collection is worse than many other smaller scale films that showed growth in their second weekend. On its second Friday, the movie collected Rs 2 crore which is a dismal collection, going by the standard of movies it belonged to.

The second Saturday collection is Rs 2.75 crore which is once again disappointing. The film will collect around Rs 6-7 crore in its second weekend which is really bad for a Salman Khan-starrer. The total collection of the movie is Rs 107.32 crore. If the film’s collection further falls in the upcoming days, then the lifetime collection of the movie will be around Rs 125 crore. After ‘Jai Ho’, ‘Tubelight’ is Salman’s second film that has underperformed at the box office. Now we are sure fans of Salman Khan are eagerly waiting for ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ which also stars Katrina Kaif in the lead role. The movie is being directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and will be hitting the screens on Christmas this year.
