Chhaava Box Office: Vicky Kaushal Starrer Shows No Signs Of Slowing; Period Drama Crosses Rs 350 Cr Mark In Just 12 Days

The historical drama Chhaava, featuring Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna, continues to make waves at the box office, becoming Kaushal’s highest-grossing film and the top earner of 2025 thus far. Over its 12-day release, the film has surpassed the impressive milestone of Rs 450 crore globally.

According to industry tracker Sacnilk, Chhaava raked in Rs 17 crore on its second Tuesday, bringing its domestic total to Rs 362.25 crore. Its worldwide earnings have now reached Rs 483.35 crore. While the film’s daily collections have started to decline, it remains a leader among all releases in the country. The overseas collections have reached Rs 70 crore, and the Indian gross stands at Rs 413.35 crore.

Following a dip in collections after the second Saturday, Chhaava is poised to cross the Rs 500 crore mark within the next couple of days. Produced by Dinesh Vijan, who previously brought us the blockbuster Stree 2, Chhaava is swiftly cementing its place in box office history.

On Tuesday, the film’s overall occupancy was recorded at 23.74 per cent. Pune led with a notable 43.25 per cent occupancy across 695 shows. Mumbai followed with an occupancy of 34.25 per cent from 1395 shows, while Chennai had 31.33 per cent occupancy across 44 shows. In the Delhi-NCR region, the occupancy was at 17.75 per cent, with a total of 1274 shows.

About Chhaava

Directed by Laxman Utekar and produced by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films, Chhaava premiered in theaters on February 14. Alongside Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna, the film features a talented cast including Akshaye Khanna, Ashutosh Rana, Vineet Kumar Singh, and Divya Dutta in significant roles. Despite receiving mixed reviews, Chhaava continues to draw audiences to theatres.
