Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan starrer Vikram Vedha which was released on 30th September got good reviews from the fans as well as from the critics. People can’t stop gushing over Hrithik and Saif’s performances. The thriller drama started by earning Rs 10 crore nett on day one. Now, the movie witnessed decent growth on day 2.
Vikram Vedha collected Rs 12.75 crore nett on Saturday at the box office. Adding the latest collections, the movie’s total became Rs 3 crore nett. According to the report in Box Office India, the film was a wide release so growth is not easy to come by for films released on 4000 screens. The two-day figure of the film is around 23 crore nett which is pretty good.
The Sunday jump should be more than normal as it is Gandhi Jayanti and hopefully it will give enough boost to the movie to give it some real momentum and a happening weekend. Vikram Vedha is also seeing a clash with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan starrer Ponniyin Selvan: I which is helmed by Mani Ratnam. The magnum opus is also gaining good responses from the audience.

Hence, it would be interesting to see how both the mega movies Vikram Vedha and Ponniyin Selvan: I perform at the box office.
Speaking about Pushkar and Gayathri directorial venture, Bollywood Bubble gave 3.5 stars. A part of the Vikram Vedha review read, “It is a smart thriller that will leave you intrigued. The Hindi version is better executed and well-projected than the original film. The story itself is the hero while Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan only enhance it by delivering terrific performances in this movie.”
