‘Wajah Tum Ho’ starring Gurmeet Choudhary, Sana Khann, Sharman Joshi and Rajniesh Duggall made it to the theatres on December 16, 2016. Though the makers did manage to create a buzz around the movie, it failed to show any good results at the box office. On day 1, the film managed to mint only Rs 2 crore at the box office.
As per the statistics, the occupancy for ‘Wajah Tum Ho’ was extremely low and it kept on dropping as the day progressed. The reason for this could be demonetisation or the negative reviews given out by the critics. The film ‘Wajah Tum Ho’ directed by Vishal Pandya is based on a murder that takes place live on television. Even though the production cost of the film is not too high, but Rs 2 crore for a multi-starrer film is extremely less.
Now, let’s wait and watch how the film earns till December 23, 2016. Post this, Aamir Khan’s ‘Dangal’ will make it to the theatres.
