‘War’ Box Office Report: Hrithik-Tiger break ‘Thugs Of Hindostan’s record to become biggest Hindi opener of all time

Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff are undoubtedly two of the hottest actors we have in Bollywood. So obviously when they came together for ‘War’ everyone’s expectation from the film had already hit the roof.

Now going by the kind of reviews this Siddharth Anand directorial has received and it’s opening day collection, looks like the film indeed lived up to everyone’s expectations. The action-thriller ‘War’ has minted around Rs. 51.60 crores approx on its day one. ‘War’ has left behind Aamir Khan’s ‘Thugs of Hindostan’ that released last year despite lower screen counts. With that, ‘War’ has become the biggest opening Hindi film of all time.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the film’s opening day collection. So with its day 1 collection of Rs. 51.60 crores (Hindi), ‘War’ has become the biggest opener of 2019. Now that’s great news for its lead actors as well as their fans.’ War’ has also been released in regional languages so that’s another plus point. So its overall total is Rs. 53.35 crores approx.
