Whoa! ‘Judwaa 2’ races ahead of ‘Tubelight’ and ‘Toilet – Ek Prem Katha’ on day 2

Though Salman Khan may be Varun Dhawan’s Godfather, but looks like the disciple has managed to race ahead of his mentor. Varun Dhawan’s ‘Judwaa 2’ has managed to race ahead of Salman Khan’s ‘Tubelight’ in terms of its box office collection. ‘Judwaa 2’ that stars Varun Dhawan, Jacqueline Fernandez and Taapsee Pannu has managed to leave behind Salman Khan’s ‘Tubelight’ and Akshay Kumar’s ‘Toilet – Ek Prem Katha’ by minting approximately Rs 20.25 crore on day 2 at the box office. Masses seem to be in love with Varun’s double role and theatres are running houseful for this film. With this, ‘Judwaa 2’ has become this year’s third highest second day grosser film. ‘Bahubali 2 – The Conclusion’ is on first position as it had minted Rs 40.17 crore at the box office on day 2 while Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Raees’ has garnered Rs 26.10 crore on its second day. By collecting Rs 20.25 crore on day 2, ‘Judwaa 2’ has bagged the third position.

On fourth position we have Salman Khan’s ‘Tubelight’ with Rs 19.24 crore while Akshay’s ‘Toilet – Ek Prem Katha’ is on fifth position by marking Rs 16.86 crore collection on day 2.
