Woah! ‘Rustom’ finally enters the 100 crore club!

It’s a great news for ‘Rustom‘ makers as the movie has finally entered the Rs 100 crore club! The movie collected Rs 7 crore on its second Sunday and now the total collections of ‘Rustom’ stand at Rs 106 core nett. Also, ‘Rustom’ earned the third highest second weekend collection of this year after ‘Sultan’ and ‘Airlift’. The movie ‘Airlift’ also starred Akshay Kumar in the lead role so this calls for a double celebration.

Fortunately, ‘Rustom’, had an advantage of having an extended weekend as it was followed by a public holiday. It’s an achievement as the movie has broken the lifetime figures of ‘Airlift’ in a span of only ten days in places like Gujrat and CP Berar.

‘Rustom’ featured Akshay Kumar and Ileana D’cruz in the lead roles and Esha Gupta and Arjan Bajwa in pivotal roles. The film is directed by Tinu Suresh Desai and written by Vipul K Rawal and produced by Neeraj Pandey and Zee Studios.
