Neeraj Chopra shared the news on his social media, expressing gratitude for the journey that brought him and Himani Mor together. His post read, “Grateful for every blessing that brought us to this moment together. Bound by love, happily ever after.”

Neeraj’s uncle, Bhim Chopra, revealed to The Indian Express that the marriage was arranged by both families. He emphasized that the ceremony was private, respecting the couple’s wishes. “It’s a new journey for Neeraj and Himani. We cannot share details of the ceremony since Neeraj and Himani’s families want it to be that way,” he stated. Currently, Neeraj and Himani are out of the country, and the Chopra family is overjoyed.

In a recent interview with Lallantop News, Neeraj spoke about his approach to maintaining privacy regarding his personal life. He mentioned that it is up to the individual how much they wish to share.“Personal life is such a thing that it depends on an individual how much he wants to show the world… It’s not necessary to announce the marriage to the whole world.”

Who is Himani Mor?

Himani Mor hails from Sonipat, Haryana, and has a notable tennis background. After completing her bachelor’s degree in Political Science and PE, she moved to the USA to study at Southeastern Louisiana University. Currently, she serves as a graduate assistant and manages the women’s tennis program at Amherst College. She oversees training, scheduling, recruitment, and budgets. Himani has competed at a national level, achieving a highest singles ranking of 42 and a doubles ranking of 27.

Neeraj’s career focus

For Neeraj, this wedding comes after a challenging 2024 season, where he won his second Olympic medal while dealing with a long-standing injury. He is in the off-season, training in South Africa under his new coach, world record holder Jan Zelezny. He is gearing up for the upcoming World Championships as a major target for the new season.
