It’s been two days since Matthew Perry passed away and fans around the world are mourning his loss. Now, his FRIENDS co-stars Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer, and Matt LeBlanc paid their emotional tribute to the late actor. They said that they are ‘utterly devastated’ by the loss of their cast mate, who was a family.

The members released a joint statement that reads, “We are all so utterly devastated by the loss of Matthew. We were more than just cast mates. We are a family. There is so much to say, but right now we’re going to take a moment to grieve and process this unfathomable loss.”
They added, “In time we will say more, as and when we are able,” the statement continues. “For now, our thoughts and our love are with Matty’s family, his friends, and everyone who loved him around the world.”

Perry died by apparent drowning on Saturday, October 28. He was discovered dead in the hot tub of his home by his assistant. The actor was 54.
Earlier on Monday, Matthew’s family released a statement and stated that they are ‘heartbroken’. The statement reads, “We are heartbroken by the tragic loss of our beloved son and brother. Matthew brought so much joy to the world, both as an actor and a friend. You all meant so much to him and we appreciate the tremendous outpouring of love.”
Matthew was one of the most loved actors in the industry. He was best known for his role as Chandler Bing in the popular American sitcom FRIENDS, which ran for 10 seasons from 1994 to 2004.
