Days after announcing divorce with Sophie Turner, Joe Jonas reacted to false allegations behind their separation.

Joe Jonas’ personal life has been grabbing a lot of attention lately. For the uninitiated, Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner announced their divorce a few days ago. The couple released a joint statement on Instagram. They did not reveal the reason behind their separation and asked fans to respect their decision, as well as privacy. Amid this, there have been reports that Joe didn’t support Sophie after the birth of their second child. The reports further added that he forced her to attend events.

Now, in a viral video, Joe addressed the allegations and asked fans not to believe them. For the uninitiated, Joe is currently on a tour. In the video that is going viral, Joe is heard saying, “I just wanna say, if you don’t hear it from these lips, don’t believe it, okay?”

The singer further added, “Thank you everyone for your love and support to me and my family. Love you guys.” This is the first time Joe broke his silence after announcing divorce from Sophie.

Joe-Sophie’s official statement on divorce

Coming back to their official statement, it reads, “After four wonderful years of marriage we have mutually decided to amicably end our marriage. There are so many speculative narratives as to why, truly this is the united decision and we sincerely hope that everyone can respect our wishes for privacy for us and our children.”

Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner dated for a few years before tying the knot on 1^st May, 2019. In 2020, Sophie gave birth to their first child, daughter Willa. Their second daughter was born last year, whose name they have not yet revealed.

The news of Joe and Sophie’s separation broke many hearts. For the unversed, the rumours started after Joe was spotted without his wedding ring. After a few weeks, they confirmed their separation.
