Mathira reveals being uncomfortable around Chahat Fateh Ali Khan

Speaking about the incident, Mathira called out Chahat in a YouTube video and stated that her video was posted by Chahat without her consent and recorded without her knowledge. She said, “Being a woman, yes, I was very uncomfortable because I don’t do this, I don’t hug people. Why did they post it [the video] without my permission? I don’t understand.”

She added, “I am very much disappointed. I am a bold personality, but that doesn’t mean you hug me, or put your hand on my back if you see me. I don’t think any sane person would do this. We messaged him to remove it, but he hasn’t deleted it, nor has he apologised. I am very disheartened. People often wonder why others are rude. When you’re polite and respectful to someone, they start crossing boundaries. I’ve learnt my lesson.”

Mathira also shared the video on her Instagram handle and wrote, “It’s really sad how people are reacting to me when I’m rude; they say I’m being rude and when I’m respecting him because he’s older then me and if someone touch’s u I dint expect it cause ppl don’t do that I was shocked, and I thought he would not post the video but he did it’s sad that people thing I don’t have a heart and I’m a robot; crossing boundaries is never okay! This was a very uncomfortable moment for me and I just wanted to leave the place.”

Mathira gained notoriety in November 2024 when her private films were posted online and revealed her in a precarious situation.
