EXCLUSIVE: Abhishek Kumar recalls Alia Bhatt refusing him for a picture during Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania shoot: I was very angry on her!

Abhishek Kumar’s journey on the recently concluded 17th season of Bigg Boss was nothing short of a rollercoaster ride. Be it his relationship with Isha Malviya, slapping Samarth Jurel, or his aggression, the actor has been in the news for several reasons. Even after becoming the runner-up of the show, he has left everyone talking about his journey. In an exclusive interview with Bollywood Bubble, Abhishek Kumar recalls the days he was a background dancer in Humpty Sharma ki Dulhania and Alia Bhatt refused him for a picture.

During the chat, we asked Abhishek which Bollywood actress he would love to work with. Reacting to it, he named Alia Bhatt. He further recalled the time he was angry during Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania shoot when the actress refused a pic. The Bekaboo actor shares, “Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania ke set pe the hum 10-11 saal pehle. Tab 22 din ka kaam tha mera aur mujhe paise bhi nahi mile uske. Humara shoot 11 baje khatam hogaya tha aur mai 2 baje tak ruka tha Alia Bhatt ke saath photo khichane. Aur Alia ma’am ne mana kardiya kyuki woh costume mein the. (I was shooting for Humpty Sharma ki Dulhania 10-11 years back for which I didn’t even got paid. But I remember after wrapping up the shoot at 11 o clock, I waited to get a picture with Alia Bhatt till 2 o clock. However, she refused to click as she was in costumes). I was very angry when she refused and I said, ‘Ek din aisa ayega aap mujhe movie ke liye bologe aur main mana kardunga.’”

Further, he apologised to Alia Bhatt for his act and asserts, “She later clarified it in an interview that we can’t click pictures in costume. Even my mom scolded me for getting angry.”
