Adah Sharma is one of the most popular celebrities these days. After her recent film, The Kerala Story, the actress has become a household name. She has gained a lot of success post her exceptional acting and brilliant performance in the movie. Recently, we sat for an exclusive interview with Adah Sharma wherein she elaborated about her experience of shooting her recent film. As the conversation got candid, The Kerala Story actress opened up about several things. When the host asked her if she had hoped for better recognition post doing a Dharma movie, Adah spoke her heart out. Adah Sharma revealed how she was excluded from the promotions of Hasee Toh Phasee. Adah said, “Also during Hasee Toh Phasee I was told to not promote or say I am a part of it. That was their promotional strategy. So during that time like I did the movie I was not in the trailer and everything, I was not there in the poster of the movie also. My name was also not there in the poster. And I was not supposed to talk about it.”
Adah further revealed an incident of promoting Hasee Toh Phasee in Dance India Dance. The actress shared that she was also sidelined while promoting Shake it Like Shammi on Dance India Dance. Sharma further recalls that because she was not needed in the promotions of Hasee Toh Phasee, she decided to focus upon promotions of her debut Telugu film Heart Attack.
Apart from talking about these things, the actress also shed light on other things like Kerala Story. She spoke about her film, The Kerala Story doing well and becoming a hit at the box office. Meanwhile, she also spoke about the bad response that the film has gotten and the death threats. Lastly, Sharma also reacted to the film being banned in certain states.
