He has been a part of the industry for quite some time. Now, Adnan Khan got into an exclusive conversation with Bollywood Bubble where he commented on regressive content on Television. He also shared his thoughts on TV industry going through a drastic change.
Adnan Khan on TV content being regressive
During the interaction, we asked Adnan Khan whether she ever felt hurt when TV content was called regressive. To this, he said, “Sabse pehli baat toh har kisi ko apna opinion entitled hai aur har koi ye soch sakta hai, but fortunately not everyone is thinking that way nahi toh humari audience hi nahi hoti. Mai zara bhi nahi manta. (First of all, everyone is entitled to have an opinion, but I don’t think that is the case. Otherwise, we would have not had any audience. So I don’t at all agree with it). Television focuses on one thing and that’s love. And love is everywhere. We definitely can explore a bit darker space in OTT, but our audience likes things in lighter space. So, I don’t at all agree that TV content is regressive.”

I think more than evolution it’s a learning phase. I won’t say there is an evolution happening in TV industry because that means drastic change. But our industry is fantastic the way it is.”
During the chat, Adnan also shared how he was initially apprehensive to play Emperor Ashok and whether he wishes to dabble in films and OTT space. Watch the full interview here:
