Vandana Shah on AR Rahman using hashtag while announcing divorce
Speaking on AR Rahman being trolled for using #arsairabreakup when announcing divorce from Saira, Vandana Shah said, “I’ve noticed that there’s a reason a hashtag is known as a hashtag. Vandana Shah on how Rahman family is dealing with divorce
Talking about how the Rahman Family is dealing with the divorce, Vandana said, “I think they are handling it with a lot of dignity. They seem to be very private and composed individuals. And they are addressing the situation in the best possible manner within that space. I appreciate the fact that even the press has been respectful. No one has aggressively pushed for answers, and I think that’s commendable. Speaking through a joint press release and adhering to it shows a different, perhaps groundbreaking, way of dealing with a divorce. It sets an example by avoiding unnecessary probing questions. And acknowledging that they could just be a regular family navigating a breakup. This approach feels thoughtful and considerate.”
