In an exclusive interview with Bollywood Bubble, Ahsaas Channa wants to make her Bollywood debut with Imtiaz Ali or Karan Johar.

When asked about making a Bollywood debut, Ahsaas Channa said, “I don’t know. Hey, can someone please help me get an entry? If anyone is watching, please make my Bollywood debut happen. I’m stuck, and I really want this. I want to get a Bollywood debut.”

Ahsaas further added taking a break from acting. She said, “I don’t know. I didn’t want to disappear. Maybe I just didn’t have it in me to disappear. I love my work so much, and I never thought of disappearing. And, I always thought that I would keep working. Talking of debut, I would make my Bollywood debut, which is the plan now. I think I got very busy with OTT platforms, which is a really good thing. I’m not saying it’s bad—it’s great that it happened.

She also mentioned how OTT was never planned. “I was just doing shows back-to-back, and we kind of forgot about the Bollywood debut, maybe. But now, we are fully focused—me, my mother, and my team. I have a wonderful team that is working hard to get that nice Bollywood debut. It’s not that opportunities never came to me; there were so many opportunities, but they just didn’t work out. So, we’re just waiting for the right opportunity and the right script.”

Ahsaas Channa wants to make Bollywood debut with Imtiaz Ali or Karan Johar

When asked which filmmaker would you want to have your Bollywood debut, to which Ahsaas said, “I really want to do my Bollywood debut with either Imtiaz Ali or Karan Johar.” Speaking of which actor she would want to be paired with, Ahsaas replied, “I want to share screen space with Aamir Khan. I really love him as an actor, imagine Aamir Khan in Imtiaz Ali’s film with Diljit Dosanjh as the hero. There you go, you have a script ready.”

Ahsaas Channa reveals wanting to do Punjabi cinemas. “I’m 100% sure about it, though I don’t know why it hasn’t happened yet. Maybe it’s okay. I mean, I can try to get more contacts and audition for more projects. I am Punjabi, and I’ve heard my mom speak Punjabi a lot. I’ve grown up listening to Punjabi. I am well-versed in it, though I’m not very fluent. I understand it very well, and I know how to speak it. So, if I practice enough and learn my lines well, I think I’ll be able to do it. And yes, 100% I want to work with Diljit Dosanjh, Ammy Virk, and Sargun Mehta. I also watch Punjabi cinema, so yes!”
