EXCLUSIVE: Akanksha Puri on her equation with Mika Singh, ‘He is always going to be a SPECIAL friend’

Salman Khan hosted Bigg Boss show has always been the talk of town. The current Bigg Boss 2 has all eyes up for it since Akanksha Puri got evicted from the show. Now, she got into a candid conversation with Bollywood Bubble speaking about her long-time friendship with singer Mika Singh.

As Akanksha was a wild-card contestant in Mika’s Swayamvar, hence, we asked her the reason why she participated in it. To this, she replied saying, “Because he is someone whom I know over a decade. 10-12 years ka rishta hai mera unke sath (We share a relationship of 10-12 years). Aur wo rishta aaj ka nahi hai (And that relation is not recent). He is not someone I have met now. It is more than a decade and he is somebody that I can count on. I can look upto ever, like forever. Infact yaha par bhi show me entry me he sent me a video. Though wo apne US ke tour pe the, unhone fir bhi ek video banayi, mere support me bheji (Infact, he even sent me a video supporting me, even though he was on a US tour).

Highlighting their friendship, she added, “I love him for always supporting me in every decision. Aaj bhi iss cheez me bhi wo mujhe support kar rahe hai, unhone bola Akanksha I am there for you (He still supports me today, says Akanksha I am there for you). So that makes our relationship special and he’s always been by my side and he’s always gonna be a special friend to me and and I respect the relationship that we have.”

Speaking about the Swayamvar, she said, “It as not just about love, but it was about finding a partner. And we concluded the show saying that we find a partner in our bestfriend. And we would love to have a friend as a partner rather than having a stranger or somebody as a partner.”

Asking whether a romantic tingling started between Akanksha and Mika after the show, Akanksha replied, “Never. Wo track pe hum kabhi nai gaye and I think hum dono iss phase me nai hai life me. (No, we did not go there and I don’t think that we both are in that phase of life). Aur itna strong ek friendship ka relationship raha hai itne saalo se, ki aage jaakar ek decision liya bhi toh bhi wo friensdhip se hi hoga. Romance me mujhe nahi lagta ke kabhi ho payega (Since our friendship has been strong since years, even if we take a decision ahead, it will be based on our friendship. I don’t think that we will get together in romantic ways).”
