Ali Mercchant talks about his friend Munawar Faruqui
In a recent interview with Bollywood Bubble, Ali Mercchant was asked about his close friend and co-contestant from Lock Upp, Munawar Faruqui. When questioned about whether he thought Bigg Boss 17 was unfair towards Munawar Faruqui, he responded, “Whatever happened, happened for the best. It changed him as a person and taught him many lessons and a lot of things. It made him realise and seek redemption. He was genuinely sorry and apologetic on the show, in front of the whole world, for the things he had done. He admitted to all his mistakes; what more can a person do? “
Merchant further continued, “And love, at some point, brings everyone to their knees. Those whose hearts haven’t been broken haven’t truly lived. So this is how it happened. Now the point is what he did after coming out, how he gracefully handled and resolved everything. Now, he is very focused on his work, which is his lovely family.”
