EXCLUSIVE: Ali Mercchant calls himself ‘lucky’ for marrying Andleeb Zaidi; says, “Achhe logon ke saath achha hi hota hai”

During a candid chat with Bollywood Bubble, actor Ali Mercchant talks about his wedding with Andleeb Zaidi. Ali and Andleeb got married in November 2023 and it was a secret wedding. He took everyone by surprise when he shared his wedding pictures on Instagram. Speaking about his secretive wedding, Ali Mercchant revealed how his life changed after marrying Andleeb Zaidi. Moreover, he also said that he feels lucky to have her in his life.

Ali Mercchant shares how his life has changed post wedding

When asked how his life has changed post wedding, the Lock Upp contestant said, “She has changed me a lot. She changed me completely, she made me realise a lot of things. Hum bohot baatein karte hai, communication hamari bohot hoti hai. I became an animal lover after I met her and bohot changes aate aur zaroori bhi hai. Mere bohot zaare dost bhi bolte hai ki ‘Bhai teri shaadi hogayi aur tu badal hogaya’. Aur main kehta tha ‘Ha shaadi hogayi isliye badal gaya, shaadi badalne ke liye hi hai warna main kyu shaadi karu. Agar shaadi karke nahi badloge toh matlab hi nahi shaadi karke. Aapka nazriya badal jaata hai aur badal bhi chahiye as a person.“

Ali Mercchant on keeping his wedding a secret

He said, “Main nahi chahta tha ki nazar lag jaaye, main chahta tha ki let be low-key aur hum suddenly announce kare aur suddenly saare cheezein kare.” When asked if was overwhelmed with the love that came on his way. Mercchant said, “I feel very lucky aur and I think ache logon ke saath acha hi hota hai. Time lagta hai but ache logon ke saath acha hi hota hai aur patience is the game. I feel very very lucky that I found her and she came into my life and it changed everything for me.” He even called her his ‘lady luck.'”

Mercchant also revealed he completed his film’s shoot 15 days before his wedding. Andleeb Zaidi hails from Lucknow but worked in Hyderabad for 10 years and done South projects and television. She is a legit model and not an Instagram model and has walked for too many designers.

Sharing the first wedding pictures, Ali captioned, “And now we can hang out forever, Happily ever after stars now.#alhumdullilah #justdilAndAli. I see us not as promises but as privileges; I get to laugh with you, cry with you, care for you, and share with you. I get to run with you, walk with you, build with you, and live with you. I get to have you be the person I spend the rest of my life with. I get to be there for you and support you. I don’t have to honor and cherish you; I get to because I am in love with you.”
