EXCLUSIVE: Alizeh Agnihotri reveals how Alia Bhatt inspired her to choose Farrey as her Bollywood debut

Bollywood debutant Alizeh Agnihotri is going to make her debut with Farrey. The trailer looks quite interesting but everyone was quite impressed by Alizeh’s performance. She looks promising in the trailer and people are looking forward to seeing her. But do you know who inspired her to do this movie? Well, it was none other than Alia Bhatt. While speaking to Bollywood Bubble, Alizeh was inspired by Alia Bhatt and her performance in Highway.

Alizeh got her inspiration from Alia Bhatt for her Bollywood debut Farrey

When asked if Alia was her inspiration in choosing Farrey, Alizeh exclusively told us, “Yeah, definitely. Actually, that film specifically was very impactful for me because I remember I was like at a very impressionable age when I watched that and it really hit me. I was on a flight back and I was in that zone where I was deciding what I want to do and that movie really inspired me. Because I felt like a girl who can do Student of the Year can also do this. There’s finally a space in this business where an actor can do both and be successful in both and that really inspired me a lot.”

“It’s crazy that you gave that as an example because that’s exactly the example I take when people ask me why have you chosen a film like this. It’s always the performances that people remember. This is something that I felt like it’s a very interesting story. People will remember it closely when they watch it.“

Directed by Soumendra Padhi, Alizeh will be seen with Zeyn Shaw, Prasanna Bisht and Sahil Mehta in Farrey. The movie is scheduled to release on December 24.
