Alizeh talks about competing with Suhana, Khushi
For the uninitiated, Farrey released in the theatres on 24th November, and The Archies starring Khushi Kapoor, Suhana Khan, and Agastya Nanda released on 7th December, on Netflix. When asked about competition, Alizeh said, “I am not a competitive person at all. I am not competitive. And I am too focused on myself and what I’m doing and am I doing enough. I can’t focus on others.”
She added, “Even when we play games, my objective is not to win but to do good with what I have. I never think I want to win. I never think that. Sometimes I try to get myself to get into the competitive, be on your toes kind of a spirit but I just can’t. I am happy when there’s a tie or when there’s a penalty and nobody wins. I’m like ‘yay, we both won’. Everybody’s happy. I’m that kind of a person. I don’t like it when anyone loses or feel bad or when someone’s put down. I really feel bad. So, I like everybody to be on the same level, and everybody to get work and be happy. It’s such an exciting time to be in the industry right now with the kind of content that’s happening, with the kind of work the young people are getting. For the first time you’re not going with the big actors, you’re going with the young, new talented people. It’s just amazing and its the perfect time to be a non-competitive person.”

At the trailer launch, Salman Khan had revealed that Farrey was meant for an OTT release, but because of the content it was released in the theatres. When asked if the decision added a bit more responsibility, Alizeh said, “Yes, for sure. Everyone tells you that you’re actor, you do your job and then you let the rest go. You don’t focus on that. But of course, you want your film to do well, you want people to watch your movie, you want them to see your work. So yes, you do feel like that but you can’t be hard on yourself and you have to be grateful to the people who took out the time and watched it. And that’s what I’ve done.”
Furthermore, Alizeh recalled getting calls from people and praising her performance in Farrey.
