He said, “Pehele aise hota tha jinki dadhi bhi nahi hoti thi unko pagdi bandh dete the bollywood ke filmo mein. Abhi aise nahi hota hai agar, unko sardar ke role ke liye koi banda chahiye to woh sardar ko hi prefer karte hai.
Ammy also added, “Agar prefer bhi nahi karte, to sardar ko hi bula lete hai punjab se. Nahi toh pagdi bhi nahi bandhni aati thi nahi toh aisi topi type pagdi hoti thi filmo mein. Toh woh thoda alag type ka lagta tha ki pata nahi humlog to aise the nahi. Toh humare artist aa rahe hai. Punjabi bandhe kaam karenge.”
Later, as the conversation proceeded, the host asked him about saradars being used for comical relief in the movies and what Ammy thought about it. Ammy said, “Thikey, hum log husmukh hai, comedy bhi achi kar lete the, par iska matlab ye nahi ki hum sirf comedy hi kar sakte hai.”
