Rejections are a part and parcel of every actor. Whether you are an insider or an outsider, aspiring actors either get replaced or rejected. Amruta Khanvilkar on facing rejections
During an exclusive interview with Bollywood Bubble, Amruta spoke about facing rejections and how she deals with it. The Raazi actor told us, “I feel most of the aspiring actors face rejections rather than acceptance. You have to face rejections regardless of anything. It is part of your job. Even if you do 5 auditions, there are chances that you get rejected in all 5 auditions, and maybe get selected for 1 or 2 auditions. You need to take rejections with a pinch of salt like you have to accept ‘yes, I didn’t fit the bill.’ Yes, there are phases where you doubt yourself and you feel insecure but that’s the part of the cycle then there’s another cycle where you think how are you going to improve it.“
“There have been times when I have been replaced. I was told ‘You’re part of this project’ and then suddenly they removed me from the project. I was heartbroken and you go under self-doubt after that. But then, I love this job too much to give up.“
