Ananya as Ahana is a character that many people related with. And feeling related to a character is one of the most important things a filmmaker or an actor looks after. Previously, on Koffee With Karan 8, the actress revealed that she has received love from her fans but has not received respect from them.
Ananya Panday revealed that Kho Gaye Hum Kahan got her value and respect from the audience. She said, “Every film in my journey so far has served its purpose. With Student of the Year, I got a lot of young people and children and kids and loved the character and thought that the film was super fun. And with Pati Patni Aur Woh there’s this different audience that’s connected to it and so on and so forth. Even with Gehraiyaan for that matter, Dream Girl! So many films have served exactly what they had to. They have done well for me and I have always said that I have always got a lot of love from the audience and maybe this film (Kho Gaye Hum Kahan) has got me respect, which was something I was waiting for.”
