Actor Satish Kaushik passed away on March 9 due to cardiac arrest. The veteran actor’s demise shocked the entire nation. After his death, his series Guns and Gulaabs was released on Netflix and now his last film Kaagaz 2 is yet to be released on Zee 5. As there has been no update on the same, Anupam Kher recalled working with his best friend Satish Kaushik in his last movie Kaagaz 2.
In an interview with Bollywood Bubble, Anupam exclusively spoke about Kaagaz 2’s movie. He said that Satish was very passionate about the project and hoped that it would do well. Moreover, Anupam Kher also revealed he spent a lot of time with Satish during the shoot.

The Kashmir Files actor said, “I think the film is ready and there has been some transaction that has happened. The final call has been taken and I hope we get to see the film soon. It is Satish’s most passionate project. He invested a lot of time and energy into the project. He was very passionate about the theme and the story of the film. I hope it does really well and he will be happy where he is. It is a very beautiful film and we have spent a lot of time together making that film.“
Anupam Kher mourned his demise
After the death of Satish Kaushik, Anupam penned a heartfelt note to his best friend with a monochrome picture with him. He tweeted, “I know “death is the ultimate truth of this world!” But I never thought in my dreams that I would write this thing about my best friend #SatishKaushik while alive. Such a sudden full stop on friendship of 45 years!! Life will NEVER be the same without you SATISH! Om Shanti!“

Since his demise, Kher is often seen sharing throwback pictures with the late actor, saying that he still misses him. He even shared videos and pictures with Satish’s daughter on Instagram which is very sweet.
