EXCLUSIVE: Anupam Kher reveals how he controls crying during promotions of Kaagaz 2 remembering his late friend Satish Kaushik

Actor Anupam Kher is on a promotional spree for his upcoming movie Kaagaz 2. The movie also stars late actor Satish Kaushik along with Darshan Kumar, Neena Gupta and Smriti Kalra. This is the last movie between Anupam Kher and Satish Kaushik; but given that they were very close friends, it must be a little emotionally taxing for him to promote the movie in his absence. Speaking about the same in an interview with Bollywood Bubble, Kher shares how he manages to not cry remembering him while promoting the film.

Anupam Kher reveals how he controls crying during promotions

When asked if he gets emotional during the promotions, The Kashmir Files actor told us, “I have done a lot of meditation so that I don’t cry during the movie promotions. I’m trying hard to control it and I have honestly meditated for one hour. But it’s now to promote the film and to talk about the film. We will grieve for him, he is sitting next to us and we are promoting this movie with him. I have done 6-7 films right from Roop Ki Rani to Hum Aapke Dil Mein Rehte Hai. But he has been thinking very passionately about Kaagaz 2.“

When asked if there’s a film on their friendship, who would he like to cast as Satish Kaushik? He said, “Some things don’t have a substitute. You can look like Satish, you can act like him but from where will you get a heart like him? How will you get his craziness, his soul, his joyfulness, his sense of humour, his care, concern, the way he used to make fun of himself and laugh at himself? It is difficult to find such people regardless of getting a terrific actor.“
