Anurag Kashyap is one of the most renowned filmmakers in the Bollywood industry. From delivering films like Gangs of Wasseypur, Kennedy, Dobara and several more, Anurag’s films have established a major fanbase among the audience. Recently, he essayed the role of an antagonist in Haddi and worked alongside Nawazuddin Siddiqui.

Now, in an exclusive interview with Bollywood Bubble, renowned filmmaker Anurag Kashyap took some precious time from his busy schedule and sat down with us to have a candid conversation. Many don’t know that he was supposed to direct Salman Khan’s Tere Naam and he was removed from the same. Now, Anurag Kashyap has opened up about the Satish Kaushik directed film and has revealed an interesting insight from it.

Anurag Kashyap on not being a part of Salman Khan’s Tere Naam

Anurag said, “I was not asked to leave Tere Naam. The film ghosted on me. I was only questioned why did I asked Salman a certain thing, after that nobody got back to me.” He added, ” I didn’t even know when the film started shooting and what happened. I was very involved from the beginning. Hum shooting ke liye jaane wale the. (We were supposed to go for the shooting). I had just asked Salman to grow chest hair, and he also didn’t say anything.” When asked if her ever told Salman about it, Anurag said, “I did not met him since then. I have come across him once or twice and have said hi-hello.”

Speaking of Anurag’s professional front, he played an active part in Haddi and delivered an intriguing character alongside Nawazuddin Siddiqui.

Further in the interview, Anurag has also spoken about his recent craft, Haddi. Not just this, he also opened up about mainstream cinema and his films getting the tag of parallel and unconventional cinema.
