EXCLUSIVE: Anushka Sen reveals a senior co-actor snubbed her at a party

Anushka Sen is one of the most loved actresses in the industry. She is popularly known for playing the role of Meher in Baal Veer and Rani Lakshmi Bai in Jhansi Ki Rani. The actress has come a long way in her career. Recently, Anushka along with Siddharth Nigam sat down for a fun chat on Bollywood Bubble’s show Reel Buddies. The duo was at their candid best. Talking about Anushka, in particular, she opened up about facing judgement, getting cold shoulder from a senior actor at a party and a lot more.

Anushka recalls getting snubbed at a party

Anushka recalled an incident and shared, “It’s sad but I learned my lesson from it. I was at a party and I met this actress who’s older to me, much older. And I worked with her when I was much younger, when I just started, when I was nothing. I was doing Mahadev and I played chhoti Parvati. At that time, I was working with a certain person and what happened is at that party, back then that person was really lovely and I got so excited to meet that person after a decade or so.”

Anushka added, “I was like she’ll be so happy to see me because I’ve achieved things. And I’m like ‘Hi, how are you’ and I was very excited. And I got cold shoulder badly and then I was like why did she not recognize me and then I asked ‘Did you recognize me?’ and she’s like ‘yeah’. I got so badly cold shoulder. I was like I didn’t do anything to her. I’m not a threat. I’m trying to be nice but then I learned my lesson.”

The actress went on to add, “I am growing. I’m 21 years old. I learned my lesson. I’m like no matter how famous you get or how successful I become, I will never become a bad influence on people. I’ve worked with MS Dhoni. He’s the most humble person ever. If he can be humble, who are we? We are nothing. So, let’s just go towards it and help each other and let’s motivate each other to be better people.”
