EXCLUSIVE: Arjit Taneja confirms his Bollywood debut, reveals if there is a project with Karan Johar on cards

After Kumkum Bhagya, BFFs Arjit Taneja and Sriti Jha reunited with Zee TV’s new show Kaise Mujhe Tum Mil Gaye. Recently, they were even paired in Karan Johar’s directorial Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani for a cameo appearance. In an exclusive chat with Bollywood Bubble, Arjit Taneja spilled beans about his Bollywood debut and also revealed if there is a film with Karan Johar on the cards.

During the candid chat, we asked Arjit about his experience of appearance on the big screen. He shared, “That was 20 seconds. But there’s always been a hunger for it and there always will be. But I am not stuck on it like that is the only medium that I want to work for. I am very happy doing television or OTT or films whatever comes my way. I have no blockage in my mind that I only want to do films or only work on the web as I have started my career from here from TV and it’s given me whatever I have today. So, I have a lot of respect for it.”

Arjit Taneja confirms his Bollywood debut

He further added, “Having said that of course, who doesn’t want to be on the big screen. And there is one more film that I have done which will come out next year. Also, that’s a very good role and good film.  I can’t talk more about it right now but I hope audience like it.”

Is Arjit Taneja working on a movie with Karan Johar?

The actor also recalled the time Karan Johar praised him and did it gave him a sense of validation. He stated, “Of course, it should, right? Because he is a legend. And if I may say so, just for him to put me and Sriti in that 20 second ad also it’s a great feeling, it’s an achievement for me.”

Sharing whether he is looking forward to collaborating with him, the actor revealed, “Abhi toh ye kar raha hu aur isi me busy hu. (As of now I am busy with the show).”
