EXCLUSIVE: Avinash Sachdev explains his 4 years absence from TV: I lost my car, my house, my savings

Avinash Sachdev returned to showbiz after 4 years with Bigg Boss OTT 2 recently. The actor has been performing well and got a little surprise too when ex-fiance Palak Purswani entered the show with him. However, he has been maintaining his strong personality and proving to be a strong player.

Before going inside the house, the actor got in an exclusive conversation with Bollywood Bubble where he explained the reason behind his absence from TV. The actor was brutally honest as he remembered his tough time in life that made it difficult for him to even make ends meet.

Avinash Sachdev on his tough time

When asked what made him stay away from the screen for so long, Avinash recalled the harsh reality of his life. He shared, “Nach Baliye ended in 2019 end and post that, I started my own pan-Asian restaurant. And as soon as it happened, Covid hit. So, to survive that, one-and-a half years passed. I was paying my dues, my rent, but in that everything of mine went away. My car, my house, my saving all went away in surviving that time. After that, I didn’t understand what was happening in my life and I went into a low phase.”

On his comeback…

However, the actor pulled himself out of that phase. “But I came out of it because this is life. You have to pick yourself up,” he insisted. When asked if this stint on Bigg Boss can be called as his comeback, he said, “Definitely, why not. Everything that I have lost in the last 4 years, be it my savings, my house, my work, I want to get it all back and I have no shame in admitting that.”
