Babil Khan has emerged as one of the best star kids in contemporary times. The son of the legendary late actor, Irrfan Khan and his wife, Sutapa Sikdar, Babil, has impressed everyone with his roles in his recently released movies and series. After making an impressive debut with Qala, the actor went on to feature in The Friday Night Plan and The Railway men. In a new show of Bollywood Bubble Men z, Babil who is the first guest talks about masculinity and manhood. During the candid chat, he revealed the way to his heart and his take on relationships.
Babil Khan discusses a woman and man’s role in the relationship
During the fun Menz segment, we questioned Babil about some of the misogynistic comments and patriarchal remarks women often hear. Reacting to how women’s role in a relationship is more than raising kids and handling family, he says, “A woman’s role is nothing but to be herself and to explore herself and to evolve with the partner she chooses. And a man’s role is to do the same and live. A relationship should be about evolution of the both the partners and how you’re aiding that and helping each other and finding love in that it’s not about suppressing or controlling.”

He further remarked why he sometimes feels insecure as a man but does not let it affect his behaviour. Babil asserted, “I understand where your insecurities and egos rise from. I’m not saying they are not there. Even I feel these things. Like I feel insecure as a man I feel ego but it is extremely important to know that I am feeling these things I won’t let these things affect my behavior towards anybody.”
Babil Khan reveals the way to his heart
We also asked Babil what is the way to his heart. Talking about which, he explained why affection as a quality impress him the most. He shared, “It is only affection and not being a romantic person. It’s like you tell some, ‘I really like you, you are very sweet’. Just tell people about the qualities you admire about them and I think that is so important because we live in a world where people are insecure. It has become a general part of humanity and it’s your survival instinct. But to comfort that in some way for everybody, I think just to small gestures and make someone feel happy for no reason. I think that is the way to my heart. The small gestures that make people happy for no reason.”
Further in the conversation, Babil also said that being a man is more than just having six-pack abs and the toxic drive of being a saviour.
