Bhuvan Bam opens up about dealing with trolls and influencer tag

When asked how does Bhuvan draws a line on his jokes to not make it look insulting. To this, he says, “There is too much layering that happens now. But I feel that personally, I don’t put myself into a situation where I have to do ‘insult comedy’. Mere 21 character hai. Mai apne pe hi joke maar ke khush rehta hu aur log bhi khush rehte hai (I have 21 characters to play with. I make jokes on myself and stay happy with it and my viewers are also happy with it).

He added, “I don’t need to target anyone else. I don’t get into political or communal jokes. Mujhe naturally nahi aata wo. Mujhe apne hi characters me itna dikhane ko hai ke I don’t delve into that (It does not come naturally to me. I have so much to show in my characters that I don’t delve into that). So I feel, layering hoti hai and it depends from project to project.”

Further, we asked how does he deal with influencer tags and social media trolls. To his, Bhuvan Bam said, “I strictly abide to this that I am not an influencer, I am a creator. I want to work on my acting skills and be better at my craft. And trolling should happen. Social media ka maza hi nahi hai jab trolling nahi ho (There is no fun if there is no trolling). Motivation bhi hai, it keeps you going and keeps you active. Aap sochte rehte ho aur apne baare me bahot ooncha ooncha nahi sochte (Trolling does not make you think high of yourself). It keeps you in check.”

Further in the interview, Bhuvan Bam also spoke about his love life. On this note, he is all set to take on the duties of a narrator in Takeshi’s Castle which is set to come soon on Amazon Prime Videos.
