EXCLUSIVE: Abhishek Kumar on break up with Udaariyan co-star Isha Malviya: “Logon ko lagta tha ki…”

The Salman Khan-hosted reality show Bigg Boss 17 premiered with a bang. Among many contestants, Abhishek Kumar and Isha Malviya are all set to enter the house. Previously, the two have worked together in Udariyaan and have gained a huge fan following.

Before the actor begins his journey in Bigg Boss 17 he sat with us for an exclusive conversation and spilled the beans on what the audience can expect out of the two. Abhishek Kumar says Abhisha fans can expect his friendship with Isha Malviya

Abhishek said that Abhisha fans can expect a friendship between him and Isha Malviya in the house. During the conversation, he also revealed that he had not met Isha for the past one and a half year. He said, “Hum dono talking terms pe toh hai. Hum relationship me nahi the. Udariyaan ke baad Bekaboo karne mai Bombay aa gaya aur wo Chandigarh me hi thi. Toh hum kabhi sath me mil nahi paate the. Toh logon ko lagta tha abb inka breakup ho gaya hai, jabki hum kabhi relation me hi nahi the.” (We are on talking terms. Previously, we were not in a relationship. After doing Udariyaan, I came back to Bombay for Bekaboo and she was in Chandigarh. So, we couldn’t meet. People used to think that we broke up, but we were not in a relationship at all)

When said that his co-star Isha Malviya is also entering the house, so what can the audience expect. To this, he said, “Mai aisa kuch soch ke hi nahi jaa raha ke Isha bhi aa rahi hai. Mai akela khelna chahta hu. Mujhe kisi ke saath ki zaroorat nahi hai. Agar kisi ne sath aana hai toh most welcome but mai kisi ke paas nahi jaane wala. Mai achese sab ke sab bana ke, jisse ladai hogi ladunga jisse jamegi jamaounga but mujhe akela khelna hai aur apne liye khelna hai. Mujhe meri team ke liye, mere doston ke liye, parivaar ke liye sabke liye khelna hai aur mujhe jeetna hai. Mujhe ye nahi pata ke kaun known jaa raha hai ya kaun unknown jaa raha hai. Mere liye saare competitors hai.”

(I’m not going ahead thinking that Isha is also coming. I want to play solo. If anyone wants to be with me then you are welcome but I am not going to go to anybody. If fights happen, then it will happen. But I want to play for myself, for my team, friends, family and I want to come back as a winner. Everyone is a competitor to me)
