EXCLUSIVE: Bigg Boss 17 contestant Manasvi Mamgai on Ankita Lokhande and Vicky Jain: Mujhe lagta hai ye log plan karke aaye hai

Actor Manasvi Mamgai was all set to foray into the reality show space with Bigg Boss 17. While it was said that she had a showdown with the production, rumours were also rife that Manasvi couldn’t do the show due to medical reasons. However, the former Miss India will now enter Bigg Boss season 17 as a wild card contestant. In an exclusive chat with Bollywood Bubble before entering the house, the actress revealed why she backed out and her thoughts on Ankita Lokhande-Vicky Jain.

Manasvi Mamgai reveals why she backed out of Bigg Boss 17

When we asked the actress what made her opt out of the show at the last minute, she said, “Jo Trump card hota hai koi bhi game me, woh pehle nahi nikalte hai log. Thoda rukke nikalte hai. Toh mai is show ka trump card hoon. (In any game, the trump card is not the one that comes out first. It is used at the right time. So I am the trump card of this show).”

Taking about whom she sees as competition, Manasvi told, “Competition toh saare hi hai and kisi ko underestimate nahi kar sakte kyuke lamba game hai. (I see everyone as competition and can’t underestimate anyone as it’s a long game).”

We further asked her thoughts on Vicky and Ankita’s equation in the house. She shared, “Honestly batau mujhe Vicky Ankita ka ye pura plan lagta hai ki hum time le aur Jake dikhayenge ki pati-patni ke beech daraar aagayi hai types. (I feel this is Ankita and Vicky have planned everything before entering). I expected Ankita would overshadow Vicky since she is a big name.  But I am surprised to see that Vicky is overshadowing her.  So I am interested in this for now.”

Manasvi answers if she feels that Isha Malviya is taking advantage of Abhishek Kumar

“It is not something I am sure of or I can comment on. But ha mujhe thoda sa lagta hai ki maybe it’s a push and pull happening ki dur jao pass aao. So wo dekhke mujhe lag raha hai haa. (I feel like it’s a push-and-pull happening between them. Looking at it I feel Yes).”

On a concluding note, we prodded her about being open to love in the Bigg Boss house. To which she replied, “Sure, yes, I’m open. I’m open for love in life, in general.”

Apart from Manasvi, Isha Malviya’s boyfriend Samarth Jurel also entered the Salman Khan-hosted show. For the uninitiated, Bigg Boss 17 airs on Colors TV and Jio Cinema every night at 9 p.m. followed by Weekend Ka Vaar every Saturday and Sunday.

It will be interesting to see how the game will unfold post entries of these wildcard contestants.
