EXCLUSIVE: Bigg Boss 17 first runner-up Abhishek Kumar reacts to the ‘women-beater’ tag, says, ‘Maafi mil jaye aur woh tag hat jaaye’

The 17th season of Bigg Boss, hosted by Salman Khan, came to an end today, with Munawar Faruqui emerging as the winner. Abhishek Kumar emerged as the first runner-up of Bigg Boss 17. After the grand finale, Abhishek Kumar sat down for an exclusive conversation with Bollywood Bubble and opened up about his Bigg Boss journey, comparison with late Sidharth Shukla, being called a women-beater and a lot more.

Abhishek talks about ‘women-beater’ tag

Abhishek’s relationship with Isha was highlighted on the show. Isha had accused him of slapping him when they were doing the TV show Udaariyaan together. He was also given the ‘women-beater’ tag. Now, Abhishek addressed the same and told us, “JoH tha woh bohot galat tha. Woh galat hogaya. Kabhi kabhi situation aisi ho jaati hai ki aap aapa kho baithe ho aur woh cheez hui. Aur wahi ki dono haath se taali bajti hai. Aur uss cheez ka prayaschit mein bohot kar chuka hu. 6 mahine bed pe kar chuka hu. Fir uske baad mein Bombay aake 2-3 mahine kar chuka hu. (Whatever it was, was very wrong. Sometimes the situation becomes such that you lose your temper and things happen. I have been on bed for 6 months. Then after that I spent 2-3 months in Bombay).”

Abhishek added, “Jab mein bilkul nikal gaya tab us samay Bigg Boss agaya. Bigg Boss mein 3 and 1/2 mahine kar chuka hu. Toh ab agar maafi nahi milegi toh bohot bura hoga mere saath. Maafi mil jaye aur woh tag hat jaaye. Aur mein ek ache note pe aage badna chahta hu. (After that Bigg Boss happened. I have been here for 3 and 1/2 months. So now if I don’t get forgiveness so that’ll be bad for me. I hope I get forgiveness and that tag is removed. And I want to move ahead on a good note).”

Abhishek’s Bigg Boss journey was full of ups and downs. He had arguments and fights with Isha Malviya, Samarth Jurel, Ankita Lokhande and Vicky. On the other hand, he also grabbed attention for his love for Khanzaadi.
