Chum Darang on being friends with Avinash Mishra after Bigg Boss 18
When asked about a fight with Avinash Mishra and reconciling with him, the model answered, “Definitely not. As I said before, inside the house, we were given certain situations, and according to those situations, we used to behave. As the situation changed, our thought process changed too. And nobody is a bad person. What happened inside, stays inside. Now that we’re outside, we’re different people. And I would love to be friends with everyone.”
When asked if it is a fitting reply to people who questioned her place in Bigg Boss 18, to which Chum Darang replied, “Definitely! I’ve made it here. I’m a winner. I’m here, so being in the top 5 is my reply. Right, so I’m very happy. Someone must have brought me here, so I must have done something right to get here.”
Chum Darang on her ethnicity
Talking about how people questioned her or her ethnicity in the Bigg Boss 18 house, Chum replied, “I wasn’t aware of that. I think what Shehzada and I went through was a misunderstanding. For me, it was a very sensitive topic, so I got offended. But later, we both talked about it and apologized. I apologize. I realized that some things can be sorted out by talking, and that’s a good thing.”
Chum on Eisha
Speaking of Eisha’s comments about you, like the “period” talk and the ticket to the finale, Chum said, “It did feel a bit pointed at that moment, but we talked about it, and everything was okay. As I said before, discussing and talking through things can resolve a lot. But at that moment, I felt a little hurt because it felt like, why was this said? On the first day, it felt really bad. I was a bit hurt, but you know, we sorted it out later.”
Chum on Shrutika
Talking about when she backstabbed Shrutika, Chum responded, “I don’t remember backstabbing. The rift that happened between us, the fight we had, I didn’t backstab her. But if I look at it from my point of view, I don’t know what happened. It was really bad, and I feel like I could have handled it differently. But we did what we did, and it happened. After that, I think our relationship grew even stronger. So what else can I say? I don’t think I backstabbed her.”
