Karan Veer Mehra is an Indian television actor who began his acting in 2005 with the youth show Remix. He has since been part of the Sony SAB TV show Biwi aur Main as well as Bollywood movies like Ragini MMS 2, Mere Dad Ki Maruti, Blood Money, Badmashiyaan and Amen. The actor – who emerged as the winner of last season of Fear Factor – Khatron Ke Khiladi 14, is one of the contestants on the controversial reality show Bigg Boss 18.
During an exclusive interview with Bollywood Bubble before entering the Salman Khan-hosted show, Karan got candid about why he kept his news of entering the BB18 house under wraps, his strategy for the same, his broken marriages and more. Scroll below to know what he said.
Karan Veer Mehra on Bigg Boss 18
During the exclusive chat, Karan Veer Mehra was asked the reason behind why he kept his participation in Bigg Boss 18 a secret from fans. Answering these, the Khatron Ke Khiladi 14 winner said,” I didn’t keep anything under wraps. The fact is that in the last few minutes, I decided to do it. So it was like that.”
When asked if he had any strategy in mind to play and win Bigg Boss 18, the actor said, “The same, with no strategy. I am going to be myself. And this is what it should be about in Big Boss. Big Boss is a platform where everything about your personal life is out.”
Bigg Boss is a show that ends up reflecting on every contestant’s personal life, Karan was asked if he is prepared to face questions about his broken marriage. To answer this the Ragini MMS 2 actor said,” I have already seen that the media has been kind enough to let people know. And I think we as individuals also have moved on.”
For those who do not know, Karan married Devika Mehra in 2009 but they divorced each other in 2018. In 2021 Mehra married Nidhi Seth, however, in 2023 they parted ways.
Karan on BB18 having more TV actors
During the same conversation, it was mentioned that this time there are maximum TV celebrities. Reacting to this, Karan Veer Mehra said, “It’s good. It’s good. It’s about personalities inside. I am sure everybody is coming with some responsibility that they are representing the television media. So let us be calm.”
Karan Veer Mehra was asked if he spoke to Ankita Lokhande or any of her other friends for advice ahead of entering the house. To which he answered, “No.”
