Talking about when was she offered the show, Chandrika shares, “Bigg Boss mujhe April-May mein email ke through offer hua tha aur maine use fraud samjha tha. Maine kaha yaar fraud hoga toh chodo aur kaam pe dhyaan do. (I was offered Bigg Boss in April or May. I had received an email and seeing that I thought it’s a fake call. In fact I had ignored it and decided to focus on my work).”

Vada Pav girl on being threatened by Delhi Muncipality

Talking about her infamous controversy, she states, “Aisa toh hai nahi ki delhi mein sirf meri cart lag rahi hai. Delhi mein har jagah cart lagti hai. Aur jaisa ki maine kaha mujhe galat bardasht nahi hota. Toh jab 2-4 baar paise ki wajah se mujhe dhamki mili toh maine action liya. Finally aaj sab thik hai. Uss phase ne mujhe mentally torture kiya but strong banaya. (It’s not that only I run a food cart in Delhi. There are several other people as well. But due to money, I was threatened 3-4 times and then I took an action. I am not someone who can tolerate wrong happenings around me. Today, finally everything is sorted. That phase was mentally taxing but it made me strong).”

She further shared her opinion on actor-influencer debate that happens in the house. She avers, “Logo ko influencer ki life aisi lagti hai ki bahut easy hai aur hum maze kar rahe hai. Mai audience ko batana chahti hu ki ek choti si choti reel ke liye humein bhagna padta hai. Humein din raat mehnat karni padti hai. Humara agar mood kharab bhi hai na toh humein smile karte hue camera ke saamne jana padta hai aur content banana rehta hai. Toh kuch easy nahi hota. It should not be taken negatively. (People think influencers life is easy and they only have fun, but that’s not the case. We travel places hust to make on e reel. Even if we are not happy, we shoot to deliver content on time).”

Lastly, she shared she does not mind venturing into acting if she gets a good opportunity.
