Chintan talks about King Khan’s influence
While talking about his fascination for showbiz and love for acting, Chintan told us, “Showbiz toh I was not really like I don’t know if I was going to make it like this. I knew for a fact that as an actor I might do something in life like at least I’ll do something in life that’s very artsy or if I don’t get through I might direct something. I’ll write something and then direct it. Something I was gonna do. But now, with the debut only I’m getting this sort of response so I’m really happy that ok now I don’t have to work that hard also but no I am not taking this for granted.”
Chintan added, “I think it started way back around 2006 or 05 only and obviously I think everybody in this country they have a fascination of this guy (Shah Rukh Khan). I think it was Kal Ho Naa Ho and I used to sing this song ‘Har ghadi badal rahi’. I’m a terrible singer but still I used to do that and that is one thing I remember from my childhood. I don’t remember anything else. I don’t remember specific incidents but I remember this thing I used to do. From then only I was like ok at least if not let’s say a conventional celebrity then at least like an actor I want to do it. So, I started in class seventh only to be, I was involved in dramatics and all of that but then I started doing drama professionally from class nine.” Chintan went on to add that he did theatre.
During the chat, Chintan also opened up on his audition days. He also spilled the beans on playing a gay character in Class.
