EXCLUSIVE: Chum Darang REACTS to Bigg Boss 18 winner Karan Veer Mehra ‘buying the media’; says, “Uske paas itna paisa nahi hai”

Chum Darang secured a spot in the top 5 of Bigg Boss 18, showcasing her strong personality. In an exclusive conversation with Bollywood Bubble, she opened up about her relationships in the house, sharing insights into her friendships with Shrutika Arjun and Shilpa Shirodkar. Chum Darang also discussed her close bond with Karan Veer Mehra and addressed allegations by former contestants claiming the media was paid to support him.

Talking about her bond with Shrutika Arjun and the actress once saying, ‘Chum toh side-side se nikal ke aage aa gayi’, the finalist said, “Maine nahi dhekha woh video, but nahi, woh uss sense mein nahi bola hoga, Woh I think kuch aadha conversation hua hoga – she would never say something like that.”

Commenting on the paid media controversy and the reporters being bias toward Karan Veer during the in-house media interaction, Chum said, “Like I said before, media is a very important medium. Media ke through hi sab ko sab kuch pata lagta hai and disrespecting that is not a very good thing to do. Aur Karan ne bhi jaisa bola hai, uske paas itna paisa nahi hai ki woh media ko kharid paayega. Toh mujhe lagta hai woh bilkul acha nahi tha. Koi bhi offend ho jaata.”

While being inside the house of Bigg Boss 18, the Badhaai Do actress got close to Karan Veer Mehra. Chum and Karan shared a friendship that was applauded and loved by many of their fans. Chum said, “I really like him. He’s a nice guy. I don’t find him nice, I know he’s a nice guy and I really like him.” Talking about the one thing she admires about him the most, the actress said, “I used to get irritated before ki woh bahot chanchal hai. I used to complain a lot ki, ‘Karan, aap itne chanchal kyu hai?’ But (now) I think that side of him is very pyara.”
