Daisy Shah speaks up about working with Salman Khan
When asked if Daisy Shah has faced a mean incident, she says, “When you talk about ‘Oh you made your debut with Salman Khan’, it is not easy also. Because if the film doesn’t do well and if the film has been declared in a certain way where people had this assumption that the film will do wonders and it didn’t, I was trolled to the level where people said “Film ka yeh review aaya hai and it is only because of Daisy” (The film’s review is only because of Daisy).“
She added, “I remember Salman sir sitting there and telling me that “Daisy, why are you getting affected?” I’m like meri kya galti hai, maine kya kiya hai? (What is my fault? what have I done?) So, Salman sir said, “Agar log tujhe blame kar rahe hai, toh ye film me log tujhe dekhne gaye the ya mujhe dekhne gaye the?” (If people are blaming you, are they watching the film to see me or too see you?) And I was like baat toh aap sahi kar rahe ho. Because I was just one of the pillars of the movie. He was the entire house.”

During the interview, she also said that she considers Jai Ho a hit. She said, “The reason why it was not declared a hit is because the film was compared to the budget and the box office collection which his (Salman Khan) previous film had made without realizing that Tiger relatively was a bigger budget film than Jai Ho.
