Since it is a pan-India movie, Nani graced Bollywood Bubble where he not only shared deets about the movie but also revealed one incident when he was badly treated during his assistant director days
When asked if he faced any rejections before, Nani joked there’s a huge list and he can’t say because the names will get revealed. He revealed to have faced a lot of struggles and feels they are a must for the experience. Moreover, he asked about the meanest thing he heard back in the day, Nani recalled when people abused him when he was an AD.
Nani recalls his assistant director days:
The Jersey actor “Yes, there were a lot of things. When you’re an assistant director, there are a lot of cuss words that are used by them especially when you’re the clap assistant. Everybody thinks that they can say anything to you and you’re someone who is dreaming and is every day thinking that you want to be someone someday. You can give it back, you can say it back but you hold it because there’s a bigger dream than just reacting on that day and that moment. I have never been called such kind of words even for small things also. If the clapboard comes in late, there were people who used to use cuss words on me but I resist there and was holding it.”
For the unversed, Nani was an assistant director for movies like Allari Bullodu (2005), Radha Gopalam (2005), Asthram (2006) and Dhee (2007).
