EXCLUSIVE: Dheeraj Dhoopar shares the best thing about being a father: Vinny says that Zayn is going to be like me

Dheeraj Dhoopar is a well-known TV actor. He is popularly known for Kundali Bhagya and his character as Karan Luthra. While Dheeraj is a popular face of television, he is also a proud dad to his little bundle of joy. It was in the previous year in August when Dheeraj and his wife Vinny welcomed a baby boy and named him Zayn.

Now, we had the chance to get in a conversation with Dheeraj Dhoopar in an exclusive chat on Bollywood Bubble. During the candid chat, Dheeraj opened up about fatherhood. He also shared how it is one of the most beautiful feelings in the world.

Dheeraj Dhoopar opens up about embracing fatherhood

During the hearty conversation, we asked Dheeraj how has fatherhood been to him. He said, “That is the best thing that can happen to you. I was doing Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa at that time and I was doing Sherdil Shergill at that time when Vinny was pregnant. Those were the longest days and din khatam hi nahi hota tha and mai agar jhalak ki rehearsal kar raha hu and I wanted to get back to Vinny, and agar Vinny ke paas hu toh I had to go back to Sherdil Shergill shoot. So, many things were happening at a single time but, he came and I just wanted to be a father that time.”

He added, “That was the only place I wanted to be at. That is the only thing I wanted to be, a father or stay like that. I mean, abhi bhi sab khatam hota hai, my schedule, and I run. I want to be with him, I want to run with him because that is kind of a stress buster for you. Wo neeche aake daily see off karna is a daily thing for us. (To come down and see him off is a daily thing for us)

Dheeraj Dhoopar reveals he is very emotional

We also asked him about the feeling of the first time when it hit him that he is a father. “I think from the very first time I saw him, first time in the hospital. I am a very emotional guy and I cry a lot. Mai choti choti baato pe, chahe khushi ki baat ho ya kuch, mai ro padta hu. When I saw him, I was super happy and I still feel that there is so much to come. My mom dad tell me, ‘abhi to wo chalega to aise hoga, he will behave in a certain way and I am waiting for those days.“

He adds, “The best part about him is that he keeps noticing me how I do my hair, how I style myself and he is noticing everything. Vinny is telling me that he is going to be like you and I am super happy listening to that and it’s a victory. He is just 15 months and he keeps looking at me, he keeps noticing me what I am doing with my jacket, how I am wearing a watch and everything he notices.“

Further, in the candid chat, Dheeraj Dhoopar also opened up about how he battled the label of TV actor and being judged and reduced to his looks.
