Aditi, who has navigated the worlds of modelling, acting, and medicine, addressed the evolving perception of pageant winners in Bollywood. In an exclusive conversation with Bollywood Bubble, she remarked, “Yes, generally beauty pageant winners or models for that matter were not considered to be good actors. But I feel that over a period of time, this has been proven wrong.”
Highlighting the journey of actor John Abraham, she emphasized how he successfully transitioned from modelling and pageantry to becoming one of Bollywood’s most bankable stars. Aditi acknowledged that the industry now recognizes talent regardless of one’s origins and said, “There have been quite a few good actors who have come out of pageants, whether it is male or female. So, good that the perception has changed.”

Furthermore, the De Dana Dan actress also spoke about her journey and talked about receiving her fair share of success; she concluded, “Yes, I feel that I have got my fair share of success in this field. However, if you ask me if I could have done bigger projects with a bigger canvas, for sure yes. I would love to do bigger and better projects and enjoy the success that comes from that.”
On the work front, Aditi Govitrikar is gearing up for the release of Mismatched season 3 on December 13, 2024, on Disney plus Hotstar. She portrayed the role of Kalpana Singh, Rishi’s mother, in the show. It featured Rohit Saraf as Rishi and Prajakta Koli as Dimple in the lead roles.
