The De Dana Dan actress shared her disappointment about missing out on the project. She chose not to disclose the name of the film or the reasons behind her loss. She also clarified that it was nothing related to her marital status. In a candid conversation with Bollywood Bubble, Aditi said, “Yes, I have been replaced in a couple of projects. I didn’t know why that happened and also, I didn’t want to get into it then because, frankly, films were not my main focus and modelling was. I was okay when it happened. I remember I went to South Africa and then I had shot a bit as well. After that, they told me that something had happened and hence I had to go back and we will resume shooting later. Later, I got to know that I was replaced but I never got into it. I don’t think it happened because of my marital status because I never really hid it. But yes, people who didn’t want married artists, I was never approached for them and so it’s okay.”

Furthermore, the Bheja Fry 2 actress also spoke about what kept her away from films and stated that she has been eagerly waiting to star in some good projects. “Well, I am not really stopping myself from coming on the big screen or something. It’s just that if any good offer comes and I feel comfortable and I like the role, I definitely would want to be on the big screen as well. The reason OTT worked is the same; I got good roles and fun scripts, which I wanted to do and hence it went well,” she concluded.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Aditi Govitrikar is gearing up for the release of Mismatched season 3. She portrayed the role of Kalpana Singh, Rishi’s mother, in the show. It featured Rohit Saraf as Rishi and Prajakta Koli as Dimple in the lead roles. It is scheduled to be released on December 13, 2024, on Disney plus Hotstar.
