Aditi Govitrikar reveals reality shows Bigg Boss & Khatron Ke Khiladi are NOT scripted
In an exclusive conversation with Bollywood Bubble, the Paheli actress commented if reality shows like Bigg Boss, Khatron Ke Khiladi are scripted or fake. She said, “Bigg Boss or Khatron Ke Khiladi is not scripted at all. I was a finalist in Fear Factor and a semi-finalist in Bigg Boss. I know that it used to come as a surprise every morning. In Fear Factor, we used to be taken blindfolded and then they would be revealing the stunt to us and we would all be stunned. In Bigg Boss, they used to give us different activities which were meant to create problems between people.”
Aditi also highlighted that contestants’ interactions and emotions are genuine, but tasks, eliminations, or specific scenarios might be guided to maintain the show’s entertainment quotient. She further added, “So, very naturally, this used to happen. They didn’t instruct us about anything. That wasn’t part of the show. But yes, they would certainly give us tasks that would create problems with people. Also, I haven’t watched Bigg Boss for years now and hence, I don’t really have any comment on it.”
Furthermore, the actress also opened up about how much the entourage changed over the years of her journey, right from when she started in 1999 to till date in 2024. “Well, the entourage remains the same. The number of people that travel with a big star whenever they travel is pretty much the same as it was earlier. However, the next level of actors and actresses, the number of entourage has definitely shrunk and has reduced a lot. What has also changed is tantrums. Now, the people are a lot more conscious and they don’t reach late on sets and other stuff like that. So, that’s good,” she concluded.
